"With an even tone and little vibrato, he has an understated, moody quality to his singing. There's a sensitivity that is clear right away and his intriguing sound pulls you in..."

Andrew Distel - vocals/trumpet
Pete Benson - piano
Patrick Mulcahey - bass
Vocalist and trumpet player, Andrew Distel, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, has called Chicago home for the past 17 years. During that time, he has performed regularly at many jazz clubs in the area including the Green Mill and Pops for Champagne.
Andrew’s first album, Stepping Out of a Dream, was released in 2007 to rave reviews. His second album due out in 2017 features Peter Martin, Carlos Henriquez, Howard Levy, and Jim Gailloreto. With a mix of jazz standards and lesser known gems from seminal composers, Andrew brings his understated style and heavy sense of swing to this intimate venue.
