"Angel is, in a word, gorgeous, with a captivating fresh-face allure and personality that can immediately draw the attention of an audience. But it is her vocal skills, including voice, timing, and phrasing far exceeding what could be expected from one so young - that allow her to keep that attention for the duration of her performance.
Angel can perform often-heard jazz standards and put her own mark on them without "re-inventing the wheel."

Possessing a versatile, captivating tone and an extensive vocal range, Angel is recognized for adding her own unique color and style to each song she takes on. That, along with her natural approach to phrasing and time, is truly what invites her audience in to every performance.
Wayne Messmer, professional speaker, singer, broadcaster and Chicago jazz WDCB radio host notes "One thing about Angel is her tremendous stage presence, and then she delivers this magnificent talent. It's obvious when people love what they do and I think the important thing about her is that there isn't a song writer on this planet who wouldn't love to have their song sung by Angel."
After earning degrees in Commercial Music and Music Business from Millikin University, Angel began her international performance endeavors singing throughout Italy where she continues to return for private events and festival dates. Most recently Angel has added Australia to her list of global accomplishments after spending three years traveling and performing in Sydney and Melbourne.
In Chicago, Angel has been featured on numerous morning shows, such as ABC 7's Windy City Live and FOX 32's Good Day Chicago and competed in top 5 standing in several televised vocal competitions. She currently holds a steady schedule working in various Chicagoland venues, as well as headlining Chicago's finest jazz establishments such as The Green Mill, Andy's Jazz Club and The Jazz Showcase.
Her experience and love for big band music has also provided her the opportunity as the featured vocalist for the Bill Porter Orchestra and The Alternative's Big Band, lead by Barry Winograd, longtime jazz radio host at WDCB 90.9fm Chicago.
In 2014 Angel released her first album, "One Day, All Too Soon,” that in an article by ChicagoJazz.com reviewed...
“‘One Day, All Too Soon’ demonstrates that Angel Spiccia has a lovely voice with a delicious timbre and insightful, interpretive skills. Equally comfortable with both jazz and popular music, Spiccia shows a wide creative range.”
