DAN BRUCE ORGAN TRIO
“A skilled, seasoned player, one capable of filling the space left by an accompanying harmonic instrument with aplomb and finesse.”
-- Martin Gladu, AllAboutJazz.com
"Colella’s voice is pure seduction as it’s as sweet as honey, but if you listen carefully it carries a tiny rasp at the end to keep your attention. That ability to be sweet yet command attention is the foundation of many of the greatest female jazz singers."

By embracing the influence of his heroes from the jazz tradition and retaining his own musical personality, guitarist Daniel Bruce has developed a unique and impressive musical voice. He has performed on more than twenty five albums as a sideman, and is releasing his second album as a leader this summer.
As a performer and recording artist, Bruce has had the opportunity to work with a number of eminent musicians including Seamus Blake, Ali Jackson, Dan Wall, Lynn Seaton, and The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra. Bruce's groups have been featured in The Chi-Town Jazz Festival, The Chicago Composers Collective Series, The Chicago Cultural Center Chamber Music Series, and The Jazz Institute of Chicago NextGen Jazz Series. Dan's organ trio performs personalized arrangements of standard jazz repertoire and Brazilian Bossa Nova.
The Dan Bruce and Rose Colella Duo have been a fixture on Chicago's vibrant jazz scene for the past decade. To wrap up their Winter Midwest tour Rose will be joining the Dan Bruce Organ Trio, featuring Tom Viatsas and Jon Deitemyer.
