Every other Sunday
"What does propulsive rhythmic drive sound like? Veteran Chicago drummer Fludas answers the question by leading his trio every other Sunday at Winter's Jazz Club. Joined by pianist Ron Perrillo and bassist Dennis Carroll, Fludas leads musicians who have flourished together in ensembles large and small. Perrillo, it so happens, is worth hearing in any context, the depth of his musicianship matched by the virtuosity of his technique."
