“…she engages the listener by seeming to put her whole soul completely forward…after hearing her just once, you’ll never want to let her go.”
– Will Friedwald, The Wall Street Journal
Nancy Harms - vocals

Possessing a voice filled with delicious subtleties and striking authenticity, Nancy Harms has been declared “an original" with "a truly special voice and style” by DOWNBEAT magazine. Audiences all over the world are coming back again and again to hear this rising-star, NYC-based, international jazz vocalist cast her spell and bare her heart.
In this show, “Ellington At Night”, Nancy lends her luxuriant touch to the interpretation of a number of Ellington anthems and rarities, specially selected by Nancy and arranged by brilliant pianist/composer, Jeremy Siskind.
"I Got It Bad And That Ain’t Good”, “Prelude To A Kiss”, “Rocks In My Bed”, and “Strange Feeling” are just a few of the songs to be presented by Nancy and company in this very special show. The show is meant to be a journey through the many and varied corners of the mysterious and velvety night via the vehicle of Ellington songs.
The New York Times had this to say about the show: “…impressionistic dreaminess …her renditions were stream-of-consciousness reflections by a singer reining in emotions until they exploded from within. …A tough, demanding swinger emerged in up-tempo numbers like “Long, Strong, and Consecutive” and “Just Squeeze Me,” …The final impression left by Ms. Harms was of a complicated enigmatic woman of mystery forging her own path.”
